About Ms Reality Girl.......

Okay, so I admit that I've been on so many reality TV shows it's sad BUT it does comfortably qualify me as an expert. Utter failure on each one has forced me into unbelievable bitterness and honesty.

X Factor (9/10/10) - Is this the best British talent they could find? I feel sick.

My ears actually bled last night from the horrendous sounds omitting from my TV. Even the spectacular set, dancers and drag make-up couldn't make some of these hideous contestants stand out.

The funniest moment was before the show even began when ITV introduced the X Factor by saying "There's a surprise in store". WHAT SURPRISE??? Was anyone else surprised by anything last night? Oh yeah, that Louis picked that filthy looking long haired guy Wagner.

We have all read the papers so we all knew that 'poor' Gamu wasn't the wildcard. My first question would be to the production company, I know from experience that you show your passport from the early stages, (usually before you have even seen the celebrity panel) so did anyone not spot that her visa has EXPIRED??? Of course they did, any press is good press. 'Poor' Gamu should be very thankful that Cheryl had been recovering from malaria and her 'judges (not really my house) house' would have been abroad and she wouldn't have got back in to the UK and made the last few scraps of money she can before she gets deported.

So lets talk about the performances, its early days yet and to be frank I really can't be bothered to waste an hour of my life writing about every contestant so I'll share with you my most enjoyable performance and the one that made me want to die.

Without a doubt Mary (pity me because I work at Tesco's) Byrne displayed the most talent. Her vocals were spotless and she appeared by far the most polished contestant. Devastated that the production tried to create her even more pity with a pathetic VT showing the typical visit to the doctors and treatment for laryngitis. I love how they always have to make it a 'condition' rather than just admit her voice was knackered after intensive use over the last few weeks. I doubt she has much of a chance to belt out a tune on the frigging check-out desk so I'm not surprised she's lost her voice.

My most HATED performance of the evening was poor Katie Waissel. She comes across as seriously unhinged-even in her VT. She always looks a tad twitchy. Possibly something to do with the record deal she already had? or perhaps all the different songs the has released under different names? or perhaps the stories printed about her talking about her rampant behaviour? One thing I can vouch for is that she DID work as a receptionist in MY hair salon! Anyway, lets talk about the performance as this was as bad as the press. She began the song playing the piano, totally rooted to the spot and emotionless. Her voice, as it has done throughout the entire series, sounds as though she has just smoked a packet of twenty. To be fair the strange hat on her head distracted me throughout and I'm with Dannii when she questioned the styling. 'WTF?' would have been a more appropriate response.  Simon (clearly enjoying the free press and the 'bad girl' he has so longed for on his show) enjoyed the performance and loved the styling which means Katie can be totally sure she looked ridiculous. She was surprisingly stone faced throughout the judges comments and just nodded rather unenthusiastically. We should all take heed from Cheryl's wildcard Treyc who said she had a less than warm welcome from the lovely Katie and Cher. Interesting that they didn't edit that out I thought. If she doesn't end up in the bottom two tonight I will be shocked as I can't think of a single person that would waste 30p on a call to vote for her, let alone buy her music.

Bottom two predictions - Katie and Nicolo
Early winner prediction - Matt
