As predicted Diva Fever and Storm were given the boot. we might as well just skip to the end of the X-factor and announce the winner cos, lets be honest, we can all guess where it's gonna go!
I must start by slating the utter rubbish performance by Katy Perry, the girl may be 'doing well' and she may have 10 year olds buying her songs all over the world but any woman that thinks its acceptable to scream about a firework AND dress like one AND hold one live on national TV needs some serious help.
Diana Vickers was equally as shocking also some credit should be given for the confidence she seems to have found and she certainly gave a more polished performance since the removal of the famous CLAW. But again, who buys her music? you tell me.
When it came down to the choice between the girlband and the duo it was clear who would and should go through. Although the girls won't be around for long they have far more talent than the boys did-although I think the boys could have a sneaky 'career' gigging around holiday parks etc-not to be sniffed at with a lot of money to be made. I loved their bitterness at the shocking songs they had been given, 'We can sing, if we had been given better songs you would of seen that' hahahahaha. Brilliant. Don't tell my that shoddy song they were given was chosen by them.
Katie managed to slip through the net this week with a very played down performance on Saturday and limited press. The girls got talent for sure and I'm interested to see if she can pull something else out of the bag next week-if the show lets her and it's not 'her turn' for the crap song or the first spot.
