About Ms Reality Girl

About Ms Reality Girl.......

Okay, so I admit that I've been on so many reality TV shows it's sad BUT it does comfortably qualify me as an expert. Utter failure on each one has forced me into unbelievable bitterness and honesty.

Pop Idol-ITV (bootcamp)
Fame Academy-BBC (bootcamp)
Pop Rivals-ITV (judges panel)
X Factor-ITV (Bootcamp)

John Lennon is rolling in his grave.....

So I'm going to be fair and say it wasn't as bad as I expected tonight!! I winced in pain when they announced it was Beatles week and began mentally preparing myself for ear torture but I wasn't that terrible. Ahhhh, who am I kidding? If it came on the radio I would turn it off quicker than you can say Yellow Submarine.

I need to start with Matt, poor poor boy. Put in a wife beater vest and given those hideous red sequin dancers behind him along with an average song with no chance to show his miraculous range. To top it all off they put him first!!! If the entire female population weren't mad on Matt after that forgettable performance he may of been at risk but I would say he can do no wrong at this stage.

Another victim of the Beatles week was Rebecca, what can I say?? she looked terrified and in pain at times. She was obviously struggling and didn't know where to place her voice most of the song. She even made a mortified face when she messed up the tune in the early part of the song. Sometimes its best to just sing the tune if you are struggling with a song babes. We will forgive you on this occasion.  Loved the Donna Summer vintage look though.

I think Cher has really proved herself this last few weeks, at 17 years old she has so much guts and gives such a truthful performance each week. Thats said, I wouldn't rush out to buy her music although I'm sure she has every teenager in the UK to do that. I loved that she just sat and gave a simple performance for a change (But I'll be honest I was waiting for the beat to come in and her to jump of the staircase but it didn't happen).

One direction sucked, hated the clear perspex box again. Hated the song choice. Surprise surprise Louis loved it. Why? because it was so old, so unoriginal and utterly boring. I would rather watch Jedward. Simon's desperate begging pleas for votes at the end of their song are embarrassing and just shows how much he is bricking himself that his poor kids will be out.

Paige was given the best song and best production but I felt I wanted more. He could of taken it up an octave and really rifted in the last chorus but I wonder if someone has stopped him doing it? (we all know the contestants do not have the final say). HATED the brushed velvet jacket, it offended me in very possible way. Why can't they dress this kid like he wants to be dressed??? Give him some crazy shirts, high tops and some bling. He is SCREAMING to be pimped up!!!! I am convinced he is being played down intentionally. I am positive his voice does more than they are allowing..........

How dare Wagner compare himself to Pavarotti! He can't actually think he can sing to the same standard??? The medleys he gets every week ruin my life and although I want to say he should win the competition just to show what a debacle the X Factor is-I can't. For the talent that remains-PLEASE get him out!!!!!! I thought Cheryl was utterly contradictory when she quoted things that he had supposedly said about her in the papers, the girl that continuously slates the press and gave the 'woe is me' Piers Morgan interview slating all the lies that had been written about her-I'm the only woman in the world going through it-divorce. Wagner may be horrendous but he didn't deserve that show of bitterness. YUCK!

Mary bored me, I'm sorry but I am underwhelmed. I have nothing to say.

Katie/Peter pan/twiggy/pixie is clearly going through an identity crisis. Maybe she thinks the public will think she's someone else and vote for her? We can still see you Katie! and we still don't like you!!!!! There's something about her performance that makes me itch. It's like she looks up for approval after each line. She really does need help, yes and NO Louis Walsh she doesn't look like a supermodel-in any way. In defence to the hairdresser that sorted the mop on her head out it is so much better that the blond straw and I would like to say a heartfelt thankyou for not making me look at those big-ass roots anymore.

So who's in the bottom two???

I am struggling to call it this week, I think there are a couple at risk but I'm gonna have a crack and say One direction and Katie.

XOXO
