I need to start by saying that the charity single made me feel sick. Mary looked like Casper on steroids surrounded by a bunch of ghosts. I mean, who the hell decided to put them all in white? what was it supposed to signify??? Spewing!!!!
It was no surprise that Katie was called first to give her that little boast of confidence that the public had 'got behind her' again, I question those that picked up their phone to vote for her? There are starving people on the streets that could really do with that 25p.
Well well well, little Cher had a little shock this evening and went as white as a sheet. The fact that the song she had prepared is one that she has already sang suggests she was very confident in her safety. For those of you that don't know all contestants have a song in case they need to compete in the showdown but rehearsal time is limited and they may only have an hour with a vocal coach so its really down to them to make sure it's sound. Something tells me not a lot of thought went into that little number......
Poor Paije, he had no hope in hell of getting through against Cher/Cheryl. He might as well of just walked on and sat down on the stage and said 'Sod it!', Oh yeah, sorry Katie already did that.
Tiny tears/rainy face strolls on the stage looking like she's been dragged through a hedge backwards wearing SOCKS, yes thats correct SOCKS and bangs out a song she has already done before.
SO Simon takes ages milking his vote when we all know exactly what he is gonna do followed rapidly by Danny and Cheryl. Then its down to Louis to grow a pair of balls and go against Simon and Cheryl to take it to deadlock and let the public decide. But no, as suspected he can't develop in enough time and does the obvious thing and send home Paije.
I just need to end this by saying SOCKS?? SOCKS???? she wore socks and jeans on stage? she offended me more than Wagner has done from day one.
XOXO

John Lennon is rolling in his grave.....
So I'm going to be fair and say it wasn't as bad as I expected tonight!! I winced in pain when they announced it was Beatles week and began mentally preparing myself for ear torture but I wasn't that terrible. Ahhhh, who am I kidding? If it came on the radio I would turn it off quicker than you can say Yellow Submarine.
I need to start with Matt, poor poor boy. Put in a wife beater vest and given those hideous red sequin dancers behind him along with an average song with no chance to show his miraculous range. To top it all off they put him first!!! If the entire female population weren't mad on Matt after that forgettable performance he may of been at risk but I would say he can do no wrong at this stage.
Another victim of the Beatles week was Rebecca, what can I say?? she looked terrified and in pain at times. She was obviously struggling and didn't know where to place her voice most of the song. She even made a mortified face when she messed up the tune in the early part of the song. Sometimes its best to just sing the tune if you are struggling with a song babes. We will forgive you on this occasion. Loved the Donna Summer vintage look though.
I think Cher has really proved herself this last few weeks, at 17 years old she has so much guts and gives such a truthful performance each week. Thats said, I wouldn't rush out to buy her music although I'm sure she has every teenager in the UK to do that. I loved that she just sat and gave a simple performance for a change (But I'll be honest I was waiting for the beat to come in and her to jump of the staircase but it didn't happen).
One direction sucked, hated the clear perspex box again. Hated the song choice. Surprise surprise Louis loved it. Why? because it was so old, so unoriginal and utterly boring. I would rather watch Jedward. Simon's desperate begging pleas for votes at the end of their song are embarrassing and just shows how much he is bricking himself that his poor kids will be out.
Paige was given the best song and best production but I felt I wanted more. He could of taken it up an octave and really rifted in the last chorus but I wonder if someone has stopped him doing it? (we all know the contestants do not have the final say). HATED the brushed velvet jacket, it offended me in very possible way. Why can't they dress this kid like he wants to be dressed??? Give him some crazy shirts, high tops and some bling. He is SCREAMING to be pimped up!!!! I am convinced he is being played down intentionally. I am positive his voice does more than they are allowing..........
How dare Wagner compare himself to Pavarotti! He can't actually think he can sing to the same standard??? The medleys he gets every week ruin my life and although I want to say he should win the competition just to show what a debacle the X Factor is-I can't. For the talent that remains-PLEASE get him out!!!!!! I thought Cheryl was utterly contradictory when she quoted things that he had supposedly said about her in the papers, the girl that continuously slates the press and gave the 'woe is me' Piers Morgan interview slating all the lies that had been written about her-I'm the only woman in the world going through it-divorce. Wagner may be horrendous but he didn't deserve that show of bitterness. YUCK!
Mary bored me, I'm sorry but I am underwhelmed. I have nothing to say.
Katie/Peter pan/twiggy/pixie is clearly going through an identity crisis. Maybe she thinks the public will think she's someone else and vote for her? We can still see you Katie! and we still don't like you!!!!! There's something about her performance that makes me itch. It's like she looks up for approval after each line. She really does need help, yes and NO Louis Walsh she doesn't look like a supermodel-in any way. In defence to the hairdresser that sorted the mop on her head out it is so much better that the blond straw and I would like to say a heartfelt thankyou for not making me look at those big-ass roots anymore.
So who's in the bottom two???
I am struggling to call it this week, I think there are a couple at risk but I'm gonna have a crack and say One direction and Katie.
XOXO

Elton must of cleaned his specs a few times this evening!!!!
I bet poor Elton couldn't believe what he was witnessing!!! I cannot believe that such influential people in the industry can sit there, straight faced and praise some of these performances!!!! YUCK!!!
I have to start with Mary, she may be sweet, she may work for Tesco's in Ireland and she may be an old try-hard but lets be totally honest if she's not banging out David Alexander or Better Midler she struggles. She murders the Elton classic tonight-despite it being the most obvious/easiest choice for her. Her notes were shaky and the poor dab looked utterly terrified! Originally tipped to win she is at risk of the boot before the final if she doesn't sort it out!
Lets talk about little miss drama, Katie. WHY oh WHY will she not do her roots???? can someone please do it while she sleeps?? I cannot believe she is happy to appear on TV with fat black roots!!??!! Hated her outfit, HATED the song for her an the 'I'm so much fun' performance. No Katie, you are not fun, you sat down last week on national TV and said 'sod it' whilst fighting for the biggest chance you will ever get in your life and watched a far more talented person leave the stage. Simon only said a few positive things cos Cheryl filled up with tears when Louis had a dig at the shocking song choice. Nice touch with the 'Miss World' speech though and milking meeting the kids-it wont get you any more votes but 10/10 for effort.
Is Louis Walsh on speed?? He tells Wagner he is like Elton John????? One of the most successful musicians EVER. Even funnier Wagner, rather than graciously thanking Louis for his comment, tells him off for getting his name wrong!!! lets be fair, who cares what your name is? Wagner, wanker, wanger? probably the most talentless man to get this far in a talent competition in history I mean even chico was better than him right?
One direction. What can I say? they had the boyband song, they had the lit up boxes, the piro, the suits and they even had the Westlife movement going on. The big drum bangs then the microphones come off and they do the on the spot walk although never really going anywhere. All they needed were some stools for the total effect. There's no disputing these kids can sing and they are pretty but Simon is very deluded if he believes he has found something totally original. Very clever production though, getting Emma Watson to big them up on the launch week of the new movie.
Matt, Rebecca and Cher were by far the strongest this evening. Rebecca was her usual-stand there on a stage with closed eyes-self but gave a good vocal although I can't help be a bit bored with her, I just want to here something else now or at least see her move and sing?! not even dance JUST move.
Matt was flawless and blasted out yet another spotless vocal looking as relaxed as ever holding on comfortably to the favourite to win spot.
I enjoyed Cher's performance, yes the song choice was obvious but she has so much guts and personality on the stage its so refreshing although when I compare her to other artists in the real world such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Missy and Mary J it all feels a little silly but then she is 17 so it's early days yet.
Prediction for bottom two...
Paije-Utterly shafted, not great but shafted none the less. Put first, given an unknown song. The poor lad is clearly up for the chop and it will take an utter miracle to save him. I feel for Paije as he clearly has real talent but I get the impression he is not being allowed to express himself as he wants to.
Katie-Apparently the girl that Simon thinks the public want to see each week despite her being in the bottom two week on week. Very keen to see if he votes tactically again to save her as lets face it, she is pretty much a dead cert to make the bottom to for every week she remains bless her.
Thanks for reading, be back tomorrow after results.
XOXO
